Jeroen van Genuchten is Global Product Owner Robotics within the for Global Center of Excellence for Robotic Process Automation at ING. Jeroen studied Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam. After working at the Department of Defence for the secret intelligence service, he joined ING 22 years ago. Starting at IT, he then worked as Wholesale banking product manager, Domestic Bank project manager and Customer Journey Expert. He started working on RPA back in 2010, using software robots for the migration of more than a million customers and their products for the merger of Postbank and ING Bank. Now he is responsible for the Global robotics programme for Market leaders, Wholesale, Challenge&Growth and Supporting functions
Guy Mettrick is Appian's Industry Leader for Financial Services in EMEA. Responsible for driving Appian's go to market strategy for Financial Services across the region. The role includes working with customers, partners and industry associations to ensure Appian deliver solutions that help drive growth, manage risk and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their business processes. Prior to Appian, he was Head of European Fund Business at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank. He has also held management positions at BNP Paribas and RBC. Javier Matamoros received the M.Sc. and the Ph.D. degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in 2005 and 2010 respectively. From February 2005 until August 2005 he was with the WMC (Wireless Mobile and Communication) group of TUDelft (Delft University of Technology). In January 2006, he was granted by the CTTC and in January 2008 by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation to obtain his Ph.D degree. From August 2010 to September 2017, he was a research associate at the CTTC applying Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Optimization theory to fields like Smart Grid, Signal processing and communications and leading/participating in National and EU funded projects. In September 2017, he was recruited by Caixabank, where he holds a project manager position at the Cognitive Department. Currently, he is working on the development of virtual assistants both for customers and employees and applying Artificial Intelligent solutions to increase efficiency within the company.
